<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mark provision function indicating a mark point at a timing appropriate for imaging. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Time information at timing directed by an operation is received as mark time information; and the correspondence relation between the received mark time information and the time-series data recorded in a recording medium is identified based on information of a recording start time of the time-series data. Based on the identified correspondence relation between the mark time information and the time-series data, the information of a mark position identified by the mark time information is recorded in the recording medium, by being associated with the time-series data.
