<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a perfectly synchronized state even from a mode-locked state in communication between a plurality of communication terminals. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a communication apparatus capable of receiving radiowaves from a plurality of terminals, within a communicable range via an antenna, via the antenna and further capable of transmitting radiowaves to a plurality of terminals within a communicable range. The communication apparatus detects a phase difference between a reception radiowave, that is received, and a transmission radiowave, that is transmitted, and stores the phase difference in a memory. An average of a plurality of phase differences stored in the memory is then calculated and variance of the plurality of phase differences is calculated. When it is detected that an average value of the phase differences is equal to or lower than a prescribed first threshold and a variance value is equal to or higher than a prescribed second threshold, control is performed to halt radiowave transmitting operation.
