<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation status collection device for enabling a host CPU connected through a VME bus with a plurality of DSP cards on a back plane to collect the operation status information of each DSP of those DSP cards. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This operation status collection device is provided with a plurality of DSP cards 2 mounted on the respective slots of a back plane, and each loaded with a plurality of DSPs 6, a data bus 7, an interface part 8 and a register 13; and a CPU board 5 having a host CPU 14 for transferring data through the VME bus 4 with each DSP card 2. Each interface part 8 is shared between the interface parts 8, and configured to allocate a plurality of status regions with equal intervals in a memory space configured of a plurality of register regions, and the host CPU 14 is configured to collect the operation status information of each DSP 6 of every DS card 2 written in the status regions by each DSP 6 on each DSP card 2 through the VME bus 4.
