PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial gap type motor for obtaining stable motor characteristics by holding a magnet or a magnetic member by a substantially constant holding force so as to follow the displacement even if the magnet or the magnetic member are displaced for a rotor frame due to a centrifugal force or thermal expansion caused by the rotation of the rotor. SOLUTION: The magnetic member 42 and the sub-magnet portion 43 housed in the rotor frame 33 are urged in a diameter direction by a spring force of an urging ring 50 disposed between a shaft portion 35 of the rotor frame 33 and the magnetic member 42/sub-magnet portion 43, and is fixed on the rotor frame 33.
