<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both leaf springs more deflectable than ever for improving ride comfort and suppressing the occurrence of axle steer upon roll motion to thereby improve controllability and stability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The suspension device has inter-plate rubber members 15 interposed between abutting portions at front and rear ends of both leaf springs 2A, 2B, wherein the leaf springs 2A, 2B have curved portions 14A, 14B S-shaped in side view at appropriate front and rear portions thereof to be symmetrical to each other, and is constituted such that: the radius of curvature of each surface curved continuously in reverse at the curved portion 14A of the upper leaf spring 2A is greater than the radius of curvature of each curved surface at the curved portion 14B of the lower leaf spring 2B; and the beginning of a leaf longitudinally outward bend of the upper curved portion 14A precedes the beginning of a bend of the lower curved portion 14B outwardly in the leaf longitudinal direction and the end of the bend thereof retreats inwardly in the leaf longitudinal direction from the end of the bend of the lower curved portion 14B.
