<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce a common mode component of noise caused by other floating capacitance when the floating capacitance between the middle point of the switching arm and the earth line does not become a main path of high-frequency leakage current. <P>SOLUTION: A power conversion apparatus is configured such that switching arms SA1, SA3, and SA4, each consisting of a series combination of at least two switching elements, are connected in parallel to each other and an AC power supply is connected to a middle point of each of at least two rows of switching arms SA1 and SA3. In the power conversion apparatus, a noise reducing means is provided which focuses on noise reduction processing with respect to the switching arm SA3 having a relatively small impedance connected to the middle point thereof out of the rows of switching arms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
