<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the switching operation of a solvent being fed to a distillation apparatus needs to be performed by a worker in order to distillate the soiled solvent in the filtration container of a spin disk filter, and therefore, the workability is not good. <P>SOLUTION: After the solvent, which has been used for the washing of a dry cleaner, which performs the washing by using the solvent, has been evaporated by a distillation still 14, the solvent is condensed and liquefied to make it reusable for the washing by this distillation apparatus. The solvent distillation apparatus is constituted in a manner to selectively introduce a solvent stored in a solvent tank 10, and the solvent having been used for the washing in which to-be-filtered articles, a particular soil such as fine refuge, are mixed when being filtered by a filter 11 to the distillation still. The solvent distillation apparatus is equipped with a control means which individually sets the completion time for each operation of an operation for evaporating the solvent in the solvent tank by introducing the solvent to the distillation still, and an operation for evaporating the solvent in which the to-be-filtered articles are mixed by introducing the solvent to the distillation still.
