<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information supposed to be necessary for a user by a simple operation when displaying map information on a display screen. <P>SOLUTION: If a change in disposition of a display screen is detected with a destination previously set and the distance between a present position and the destination is within a prescribed distance, then detail information on the destination or its periphery is displayed on the display screen, for example, parking area information, access route guidance to traffic facilities, and information on equipment at the destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
