<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell for stabilizing output and lengthening life. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 1 includes a membrane electrode assembly 2 having an anode 13, a cathode 16, and an electrolyte membrane 17 interposed between them; a fuel housing part 4 housing fuel; a fuel supply mechanism 3 supplying the fuel housed in the fuel housing part to the anode of the membrane electrode assembly; and a plate-like body 20 arranged on an air electrode side of the membrane electrode assembly, and formed with an insulating material having a hole 20A corresponding to a region becoming relatively low temperatures in the in-plane of the membrane electrode assembly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
