<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite gear capable of reducing a meshing sound of gears by restraining a backlash, and capable of reducing abrasion of a tooth surface by meshing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This composite gear 1 has a tooth 3 combined with a metallic part 4 and columnar rubber 5. A space 10 opening on both tooth surfaces 3a and 3b of the tooth 3 is arranged in the metallic part 4 so that the rubber 5 can be installed in a state of making the axis of the rubber 5 coincide with the tooth width direction.
