PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor and a data processing method for easily calculating the distribution quantity of a stream in a heat source system having a plurality of heat source equipment. SOLUTION: This data processor for displaying a utility flow in a heat source system is provided with: an equipment object storage part for storing an equipment object corresponding to heat source equipment; a property storage part for storing a property associated with an equipment object including an input parameter and an output parameter corresponding to the heat source equipment, that is, the property storage part for storing a property including a distribution quantity arithmetic formula for calculating distribution quantity in the case of inputting a stream to be output by the heat source equipment arranged at the upstream side of the heat source equipment from the input parameter and the output parameter; and an input part for selecting the equipment object stored in a library, and for inputting the display layout of the equipment object on a display screen.
