PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve case preventing a clearance from being generated between the faying surfaces of an outer shell part and the valve case caused by mold shrinkage of synthetic resin even if the valve case is integrated with the outer shell by insert-molding when molding the synthetic resin outer shell portion forming a cylinder head cover. SOLUTION: The metallic valve case 2 storing an oil control valve is insert-molded in the synthetic resin outer shell portion 3 forming the cylinder head cover 1. The valve case 2 is provided with a bolt fastening portion 5 formed with a bolt insertion hole 5a for fastening the valve case 2 together with the outer shell portion 3 to a cam cap 4. A flange portion 9 projecting from the bolt fastening portion 5 is buried in the outer shell portion 3, and also a through-hole 10 allowing the synthetic resin forming the outer shell portion 3 to be led to flow therein is opened in the flange portion 9.
