The housing (1) has a housing wall with a load-bearing region (6) forming a continuous structure between fastening and support points of the housing. The structure runs only through the region (6) in loading case under normal conditions of usage of heating and/or air-conditioning load paths. A non-loading region (7) of the wall is formed in an irregular manner, and limitations of the region (7) run parallel to and/or along the paths. The region (6) includes polyolefin or polybutylene terephthalate, and the region (7) includes thermoplastic or duroplastic i.e. polyurethane. A hybrid fabric made of a material such as polypropylene and glass fibers is integrated into the housing. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a housing for heating and/or air-conditioning system of motor vehicle.
