Disclosed is a photosensitive flexographic printing original plate having a heat-sensitive mask layer which exhibits high light-blocking performance and high scratch resistance even though it is thin in thickness. Specifically disclosed is a photosensitive flexographic printing original plate wherein at least a supporting body (A), a photosensitive resin layer (B), a protective layer (C) and a heat-sensitive mask layer (D) are sequentially laminated. This photosensitive flexographic printing original plate is characterized in that the heat-sensitive mask layer (D) contains carbon black and, as a dispersion binder therefor, a butyral resin and a polar group-containing polyamide selected from the group consisting of tertiary amine group-containing polyamides, quaternary ammonium salt group-containing polyamides, ether group-containing polyamides and sulfonic acid group-containing polyamides.
