PURPOSE: A method for producing an egg containing omega-3 fatty acid, and the egg containing omega-3 fatty acid produced by the method are provided to increase the content of omega-3 fatty acid of an egg and to lower the content of cholesterol. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing an egg containing omega-3 fatty acid comprises the steps of heating flaxseed at 80~120°C for 10~20 min to remove moisture from the flaxseed and rapidly cooling it, extracting an oil from the cooled flaxseed at 80~120°C and filtering it by 100~200 mesh, and naturally precipitating the filtered flaxseed oil for 10~20 days and collecting the upper part to prepare the refined flaxseed oil where the offensive odor and the cyanide toxicity are removed; preparing a green tea extract; and mixing 50~90 weight% of the flaxseed oil and 10~50 weight% of a green tea extract, and adding 5~20 weight% of and an edible emulsifier to the mixture.
