TORQUE TRANSMISSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid dropping of a weight member from a torque transmission device when a compressor is locked.

SOLUTION: The torque transmission device is provided with a first rotating body 11 rotated by receiving torque from a driving source; a second rotating body 19 connected to a rotating shaft 17 of rotating equipment 15 and transmitting torque from the first rotating body 11 to the rotating shaft 17 of the rotating equipment 15; a torque limiter part 20 provided on a torque transmission path from the first rotating body 11 to the second rotating body 19 and blocking transmission of torque when the torque exceeds predetermined one; and the weight member 22 provided adjacent to the second rotating body 19 and before the second rotating body 19 and acting as an inertial mass. The weight member 22 is directly fixed to the rotating shaft 17 of the rotating equipment 15.
