<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture soil prevented from falling together with spraying water and flowing out, so as to reduce contamination of a setting place. <P>SOLUTION: The culture soil comprises a vegetation base material in which plants are planted, and a solidification material which increases the hardness of the vegetation base material. The culture soil contains a lignin-based solidification material and lime-based solidification material as solidification materials. The lignin-based solidification material is contained in an amount of 0.5-3.0 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the vegetation base material. The lime-based solidification material is included in an amount of 0.5-3.0 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of vegetation machine material. The lignin-based solidification material comprises lignin, its denatured material or the like, and the lime-based solidification material comprises calcium sulfate, slaked lime, calcium carbonate, unslaked lime, papermaking sludge, burned ash, fly ash or the like.
