<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reception quality of opposite wireless communication apparatus moving at high speed and at low speed. <P>SOLUTION: A frequency deviation-calculating means 1 of a wireless communication apparatus calculates frequency deviation of a received radio signal from the reception frequency of the relevant wireless communication apparatus. An averaging means 2 averages the frequency deviation calculated by the frequency deviation-calculating means 1. On the basis of the frequency deviation calculated by the frequency deviation-calculating means 1, a moving speed calculating means 3 calculates the moving speed of the opposite wireless communication apparatus that wirelessly communicates with the wireless communication apparatus.
