<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately limit viewing times at a plurality of playback devices, without performing complicated password or user management. <P>SOLUTION: Each of playback devices 101, 102, 104, 105, 106, 107 includes: a means for notifying a viewing time management apparatus 103 of the start and end of viewing; and a means for notifying a user about reaching of a viewing limiting time. The viewing time management apparatus 103 includes a means for measuring the total of viewing number of times of one or more playback devices in a system, and a means for notifying, when the total of viewing times reaches the upper limit of the total viewing times, the playback devices under viewing about the reaching of the upper limit of the viewing time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
