INSULATING SPACER FOR GAS-INSULATED ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating spacer for gas-insulated electrical equipment which has high reliability and simple configuration and can be manufactured economically.

SOLUTION: An insulating spacer 10 includes a molded insulating body 11 in which a central conductor 12 is embedded. The portion of molded insulating body 11 is arranged between flanges 1A and 2A of metal containers 1 and 2, while being connected and secured with a plurality of clamping through bolts 5. The outer peripheral side of the molded insulating body 11 is made shorter than the dimension of the flanges 1A and 2A, and the insulating spacer 10 is provided with a thin wall part 11A whose one side is molded in thin ring. An annular bracket 14 having an L-like cross section which regulates the dimension between the flanges 1A and 2A and forms a current path between the metal containers 1 and 2 is arranged to engage with the thin wall part 11A of the molded insulating body 11. The annular bracket 14 is secured to the thin wall part 11A of the molded insulating body 11 using a plurality of connection bolts 15.
