<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for fitting a buffer member of a gate handle for a cargo box capable of easily and surely fitting the buffer member without changing the shape of a handle link, while preventing deviation and coming-off of the buffer member and enhancing durability against rubbing. <P>SOLUTION: In this structure, the buffer member 32 has a holding part 32a for holding a hook abutting surface 21a' of an engaging part 21a to surround the hook abutting surface 21a', and a leg part 32b for surrounding a bent part 21f of an arm part 21b continuously to the holding part 32a.
