<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charged particle movement-type display panel for improving a contrast ratio by enlarging a range of concealment of a partition wall with a black matrix, and further by lowering transmittance of the black matrix. <P>SOLUTION: The charged particle movement-type display panel 1 has a plurality of cells 40 partitioned by the partition walls 31 between a transparent substrate 10 and a rear substrate 20 placed opposite to each other, and has charged particles 41, 42 sealed in the respective cells 40. The partition walls 31 standing on the rear substrate 20 are formed of a light transmitting material, and a black matrix structure is formed by covering the tip and the side face of the partition walls 31 with a resin 32 containing an opaque or semi-transparent deep-colored coloring material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
