<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid fuel formed by using a resin and a biomass material as raw materials and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A raw material including a granular crosslinked polyethylene, a granular wood powder and a polyethylene as a binder is heated up to a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the polyethylene and then cooled to manufacture the solid fuel. The once melted and then hardened polyethylene is made to function as the binder to maintain the whole shape of the solid fuel. The raw material includes≤20 wt.%, preferably≤10 wt.% polyethylene and 51% wood powder, and the remainder is the crosslinked polyethylene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
