<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add appropriate time information to a start code when performing decoding, even when the start code is divided into a plurality of PES (packetized elementary stream) packets. <P>SOLUTION: The encoded stream decoding device includes: a decoder 11 for receiving the input of packets generated, by adding time information to an encoded stream including the start code, extracting the encoded stream and the time information added to each packet, also generating a tag whose value is changed, each time extraction of the time information is made, and making the generated tag correspond to each prescribed unit of the encoded stream and outputting the generated tag; a storage part 12 for storing the time information and the tag in association with each other; and a time information adding part 13 for receiving the input of the encoded stream and the tag from the decoder, detecting the start code in the encoded stream, obtaining the tag corresponding to the leading part of the detected start code, reading the time information corresponding to the obtained tag from the storage part, and outputting it to be made to associate with the start code. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
