<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a compressor operation frequency is limited in accompaniment to an increase of an operation load such as an elevation of an outdoor air temperature, and a prescribed cooling capacity is not exhibited in the operable maximum load, compared with a constant speed compressor not variable in the operation frequency, and a problem wherein the cooling capacity in response to the load is desired to be provided in aspect of stability of a room temperature and energy saving, when the operation load is low. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner includes a controller for controlling a rotation speed of a compressor, an operation current and the like built in a refrigerating cycle, is designed to secure the prescribed cooling capacity in the maximum load of the air conditioner in a cooling operation, and includes a current limiting means for changing an upper limit value of the operation current of the compressor in response to a load situation less than the maximum load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
