<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocative saw device wherein a drive unit for a counterweight is hard to wear. <P>SOLUTION: The motor driven handheld saw device 10 includes a reciprocating body 21 reciprocative with a first eccentric element 24 of an eccentric gear 23 rotative with a motor 17, and the counterweight 22 reciprocative in the opposite direction to the reciprocating body 21 with a second eccentric element 25 of the eccentric gear 23. The second eccentric element 25 engages with an opening 26 of the counterweight 22. An intermediate element 30 is arranged in at least contact regions 41, 42 between an outer peripheral face 28 and an inner periphery wall 27.
