PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoisting accessory for effectively preventing a hoisted material from being hoisted in an instable engagement condition. SOLUTION: This hoisting accessory includes: a pair of side plates 10 respectively having a flange insertion part 11 in the horizontal direction; a movable plate 20 supported and guided to vertically move between both side plates 10 and having a hook part 21 thereunder; safety members 30, which are turnably provided near the flange insertion parts 11 of both the side plates 10 and to which energizing force is applied so that the safety member 30 is positioned near an insertion opening of the flange insertion part 11; and a roller 32 inserted into the flange insertion part 11 in at least a lower end thereof and provided in the side plate to cross the inserting direction of the flange insertion part 11 and to rotate around a roller shaft 33. The safety member 30 is displaced in response to inserting condition of a flange to be inserted into the flange insertion part 11, and when the hook part 21 is not engaged, the safety member 30 works to eliminate the flange out of the flange insertion part 11, and the roller 32 is rotated in a direction for advancing the movement of the flange pressed by the safety member 30.
