<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method easily and accurately measuring internal displacement of a simulated ground in a vibrating table test. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method measures displacement inside a simulated ground S formed in a shear soil tank 2 having a plurality of soil tank frames 3 stacked in multi-layers and individually movable in the horizontal direction, by oscillating the shear soil tank 2. A measuring tool 10 vertically extends and is rockable following internal displacement of the simulated ground S. The lower end of the measuring tool is fixed to the inner bottom surface of the shear soil tank 2, that is, the top surface of an oscillating device T. The internal displacement of the simulated ground S is calculated based on the anglular displacement of a displacement measuring unit 14 provided in the measuring tool 10 of the shear soil tank 2 in an oscillation state.
