FOLDING DOOR CLOSER, AND FOLDING DOOR WITH CLOSER FUNCTION

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door closer having a simple structure and capable of being easily attached to an existing folding door later. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The folding door closer includes a cam 1, an arm 2, a cam biasing means 3, and a damper 4, and a side face of the cam 1 includes at least a circumferential face formed by equal distance from the center of turn and a slope formed to reduce its distance from the center of turn from one side in the radial direction toward the other side. The arm 2 is constituted to move its tip part 22 along a rail R and turn its terminal part concentrically with the center of turn of the cam 1. The cam biasing means 3 turns the cam 1 when abutted on the slope of the cam 1. The damper 4 applies braking to the turning operation of the cam 1. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
