<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire advantageous for maintaining a high stability in driving and improving a durability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a first carcass layer 20 and a second carcass layer 22, carcass cords are arranged circumferentially in the directions intersecting each other of a tire. Inside of the direction of width of the tire, an inside overlapped part 30 is formed in which a body part 20A of the first carcass layer 20, the body part 22A of the second carcass layer 22 and the wind up part 22B of the first carcass layer 20 are overlapped in order toward the inside in the direction of width of the tire. Outside of the direction of width of the tire, an outside overlapped part 32 is formed in which the body part 20A of the first carcass layer 20, the body part 22A of the second carcass layer 22 and the wind up part 22B of the second carcass layer 22 are overlapped in order toward the outside in the direction of width of the tire.
