PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack to be inserted into a hinge portion of a foldable terminal, wherein a housing is constructed in a cylindrical shape to solve various problems on the construction of contact piece members to be adaptable thereto. SOLUTION: The cylindrical jack includes the cylindrical housing 5 having a plug insertion hole 1 along the axial center, a mounting recessed portion for a sleeve spring 2 arranged on a peripheral side portion, a mounting recessed portion for a ring spring 3 arranged adjacent thereto, a front end locking portion 8 for a chip spring 4 constructed on the inner periphery of the rear part, and a mounting groove 9, the sleeve spring 2 and the ring spring 3 having embracing pieces 2c, 3c arranged in the mounting recessed portion for fixation, and contact pieces 2a, 3a to be moved from the mounting recessed portion through contact piece introduction ports 6ch, 7ch into a plug insertion hole 1 to contact corresponding electrodes of a plug, and the chip spring 4 having a mounting piece 4b to be inserted into the mounting groove 9 in the inner periphery on the rear part side of the housing 5, and a contact piece 4a to be locked to the front end locking portion 8 so that a contact portion 4ap contacts the chip electrodes of the plug inserted into the plug insertion hole 1.
