PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact crusher allowing easy movement of repulsion plates to given setting points when adjusting setting spaces of the repulsion plates, surely keeping the setting points, and surely absorbing impact force applied to the repulsion plates. SOLUTION: A support frame 4 is connected to the outer face of a casing 1 via shim plates 6a, 6b and a spring 70, a hydraulic cylinder 5 is provided between the support frame and casing, the repulsion plates 3 are attached to the support frame via a connection rod 35, the setting spaces S of the repulsion plates are adjusted by the operation of the hydraulic cylinder, the repulsion plates are kept at the setting points by increasing or reducing the thickness of the shim plates for adjusting, and the impact allied to the repulsion plates is absorbed by the spring.
