PURPOSE: A bus fare count system is provided to increase accuracy, reliability, and user's convenience by automatically counting bus fare. CONSTITUTION: A fare box(100) is installed in a bus. The fare box accepts paper currencies and coins. The fare box recognizes the accepted fare and a transportation card. A fare collector(200) accepts paper currencies and coins from the fare box. The fare collector performs an accurate count process. The fare collector reads the fare box related information including fare data from the fare box. A computer(300) receives fare data and bus information from the fare box. The computer compares the fare data of both sides and decides the coincidence of fare. The fare box comprises the cash box. The cash box comprises the space accepting the paper currency and the coin. The cash box stores the transportation card process result and fare data. |
