<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of obtaining superior cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: An anode 50 has an anode active material layer 52 containing at least a kind from among a group consisting of a single body and a compound of silicon fitted to an anode collector 51. The anode collector 51 has a base material 51A with protruding parts 51B made of copper provided on the surface, and a plated film 51C continuously covering at least a part of the protruding parts 51B and at least a part of the surface of the base material 51A. The plated film 51C is structured of a metal other than copper, such as single bodies and compounds or the like of cobalt, iron, or nickel. Due to the existence of the protruding parts 51B, internal stresses generated at the anode active material layer 52 at expansion and contraction are dispersed, and moreover, a contact area of the anode collector 51 and the anode active material layer 52 is increased to improve their mutual adhesion. The protruding parts 51B are covered with the plated film 51C, and so, are less apt to exfoliate from the base material 51A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
