<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire observation system with which a target installed on an electric wire is surely recognized without fail to measure the behavior of the electric wire even though there is an environmental change so that an electric wire is continuously measured for a long time without human intervention regardless of day or night, weather, and season. <P>SOLUTION: The electric wire observation system is used to observe the movement of an electric wire by installing a target on the electric wire strung between supporting objects and observing the movement of the target. The target includes a means for emitting light by itself. Multiple targets are installed on target supporting members installed on an electric wire at predetermined intervals.
