<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent damage due to a shock at the time of falling or an unreasonable opening operation even if a hinge device of mobile equipment is miniaturized using an inexpensive member. <P>SOLUTION: A first stopper portion 13 installed in a first frame member secured to an upper casing, and a first stopper-receiving portion 16 installed in a second frame member secured to a lower casing are brought in contact with predetermined rounded corners 13a, 16a respectively, and brought in contact with contact surfaces 13b, 16b which are subjected to a tilting process for tilting in the direction of a rotation shaft and rotational direction. Thereby, a load produced upon contact between the first stopper portion 13 and the first stopper-receiving portion 16 can be applied, via respective corners 13a, 16a and respective contact surfaces 13b, 16b, in such a direction that the thickness of the first stopper portion 13 becomes larger. Therefore, even if the hinge device is miniaturized using the inexpensive member, the damage due to the shock at the time of falling or the unreasonable opening operation can be prevented effectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
