PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail sealer device capable of easily releasing a paper jam trouble in sealer rollers. SOLUTION: This mail sealer device 10 comprises: a pair of sealer rollers 42 and 44 for pressing folded paper sheets (a); a rotary driving means for driving the sealer rollers 42 and 44 to rotate (b); a rotating speed detecting means for detecting the rotating speed of the sealer rollers 42 and 44 (c); and a rotation control means for controlling operation of the rotary driving means (d). When the rotating speed of the sealer rollers 42 and 44 detected by the rotating speed detecting means are lower than a preset reference value larger than zero, the rotation control means stops rotary drive of the sealer rollers 42 and 44 by the rotary driving means.
