<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression refrigerating machine, for maintaining an appropriate viscosity of lubricating oil without increasing the load of the refrigerating machine by preventing inclusion of lubricating oil into refrigerant as much as possible, the refrigerating machine further for avoiding a state in which supply of lubricating oil is disabled by foaming or the like during operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The compression refrigerating machine includes a refrigerant circulation system formed by connecting a multi-stage compressor 13 of two stages or more, a condenser 17, an evaporator 11, and an economizer 18 by a refrigerant pipe 21 in which refrigerant is circulated, and a lubricating oil tank 25 storing lubricating oil for lubricating a bearing 23 of the multi-stage compressor 13. The refrigerating machine further includes a lubricating oil circulation system for supplying the lubricating oil in the lubricating oil tank 25 to the bearing 23 through a lubricating oil supply pipe 29a by an oil pump 27 and returning the lubricating oil after lubricating the bearing 23 to the lubricating oil tank 25 through a lubricating oil return pipe 29b. The inside of the lubricating oil tank 25 is connected to the inside of the economizer 18 through a pressure equalizing pipe 31 to equalize the internal pressure of the lubricating oil tank to the internal pressure of the economizer.
