<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device belonging to a non-priority radio system capable of reducing erroneous detection of the presence or absence of transmission of a radio signal from a radio communication device belonging to a prior radio system: and to provide a processing method thereof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radio communication device belonging to the non-priority radio communication system receives natural environment information as well as information as to whether or not the radio communication device belonging to the prior radio communication system transmits a radio signal. When the radio communication device transmits the radio signal and the natural environment information does not exceed a reference value, the radio communication device determines that the radio communication device belonging to the prior radio system starts communication processing.
