<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure between wood members, capable of ensuring high rigidity and strength as a structure, and a joint tool which has a further simple structure and can facilitate the construction thereof with hardly causing looseness. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Respective joining faces 30 and 30a of wood members 3 and 3a to be joined are allowed to abut on each other, and a connecting member 1 is inserted between connecting holes 31 and 31 thereof. A pair of extension members 20 and 20a is inserted to each installation hole 36 or 37 connecting with each insert hole 11 or 12 of the connecting member 1, and a round bar-like stopping member 21 having the same thickness is driven between both over the whole length through each insert hole 11 or 12 of the connecting member 1. The space each between the extension members 20 and 20a is extended by the stopping member 21 to compress a wood part around them, and the stopping member 21 is fastened and fixed by the extension members 20 and 20a, thereby the wood members 3 and 3a are mutually joined.
