ARRAY ANTENNA AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING CENTER DIRECTION OF BEAM

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy adjustment so that the center direction of a beam may be a predetermined direction when an array antenna is attached on an object such as a vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The array antenna has an antenna conductor in which radiation pieces are disposed on a first main surface of a dielectric substrate 22. The array antenna includes a dielectric plate 1 which has a thickness enough to vary the center direction of a beam in a predetermined direction and covers the first main surface at predetermined intervals. The thickness of the dielectric plate 1 or a specific dielectric constant thereof is adjusted, thereby facilitating the adjustment in the center direction of the beam after the array antenna is attached on the object such as the vehicle.
