<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkler head preventing malfunction due to ageing displacement of a thermosensitive element and quickly actuating when a fire breaks out. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This sprinkler head is provided with a head body 1 having a water outlet 2, a valve element 15 closing the outlet 2, and a thermosensitive degradation mechanism 30 supporting the valve element 15, wherein the thermosensitive degradation mechanism 30 consists of lock balls 71 preventing the separation from the head body 1, a piston 63 formed with a lock ball receiving part 64 for supporting the lock balls 71, and a fusible alloy 62 provided in the lower part of the piston 63 and fused by heat.
