The separator plate (10) has a metallic core (12) comprising a plastic coating (16) with an electrically conductive plastic material. The plastic material is a mixture of thermoplastics, thermosetting polymers and carbon. The metallic core comprises guiding structures i.e. pipes (14.1, 14.2), for guiding coolant. The pipes comprise inlet openings (34.1, 34.2) and outlet openings (36.1, 36.2), where the inlet openings and the outlet openings discharge into a circular edge (22) of the separator plate. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a galvanic cell comprising electrolytes (2) a method for manufacturing a separator plate.
