ELECTRODE STURCTURE USED FOR A MOBILITY TUBE OF A MOBILITY SPECTROMETER

摘要

An electrode structure used for a mobility tube of a mobility spectrometer comprises ring electrodes. At least a part of two ring surfaces of the ring electrode adjacent to an inner edge are shaped as cones, respectively. Different angles are formed by the two cone surfaces and the center axis of the ring electrode. The electrode structure could effectively eliminate or reduce space charges accumulated in the mobility tube, which is adaptable in the cases of low electric field intensity in a mobility tube or passing a large amount of ions. The structure could effectively reduce the size of a mobility tube, and thus reduce IMS.
