PURPOSE:To prevent the pollution or the like of a photosensitive member and a scanning reflecting mirror by providing a movable reflecting mirror which switches an optical path to a reader optical path and a printer optical path and providing a scanning reflecting mirror which forms the printer optical path. CONSTITUTION:Since the movable reflecting mirror 12 is placed above the exposure position of a photosensitive drum 21 in the reader mode, the printer optical path formed above the photosensitive drum is intercepted by the movable reflecting mirror 12, ad dust, foreign matters, etc., penetrating the rear of a screen are not dripped onto the photosensitive drum through the optical path. Since the second and third reflecting mirrors 14 and 15 for scanning are placed at the rear of the movable reflecting mirror 12 in the reader mode, dust, foreign mattes, etc., are not directly dropped on the reflecting face of the second reflecting mirror 14 facing the rear of the screen. Thus, the photosensitive body and scanning reflecting mirrors are prevented from being stained and damaged by dust, foreign matters, etc.
