<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink composition excellent in stability with time and good fixation of an image to be formed. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous ink composition comprises colored particles containing a pigment and a dispersing agent having a hydrophobic constituting unit represented by formula (1) (wherein R<SB>11</SB>is hydrogen or a methyl group; L<SB>11</SB>is -COO-, -OCO-, -CONR<SB>3</SB>- or the like; L<SB>12</SB>is at least one divalent connecting group selected from the group consisting of connecting groups consisting of a 1-12C alkylene group, a 2-12C alkenylene group, -CO-, -NR<SB>7</SB>-, -O-, -S-, -SO-, and -SO<SB>2</SB>-; R<SB>3</SB>and R<SB>7</SB>are each hydrogen or an alkyl group; and Ar<SB>1</SB>is a monovalent group having an aromatic ring), resin particles containing a self-dispersible polymer having a hydrophobic constituting unit represented by formula (2) (wherein R<SB>21</SB>is the same as defined in R<SB>11</SB>; L<SB>21</SB>is the same as defined in L<SB>11</SB>; L<SB>22</SB>is the same as defined in L<SB>12</SB>; R<SB>3</SB>and R<SB>7</SB>are the same as defined above; and Ar<SB>2</SB>is the same as defined in Ar<SB>1</SB>), and an aqueous medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
