PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processing device capable of discriminating a noise part in a binary image, and distinguishing a crystal grain boundary part from a part which is not a crystal grain boundary part. SOLUTION: This image processing method includes processes of: imaging a sample by an imaging device; storing an image signal of a sample image in a storage means; setting a threshold by a threshold setting means relative to the image signal, and generating a binary image from the sample image by the threshold; referring to the image signal of the sample image stored in the storage means by an operation part; and discriminating a noise part in the binary image by a result acquired by referring to the image signal by the operation part, and removing the noise part from the binary image.
