PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter apparatus for drawer type circuit breaker which is improved so that it is set up simply in small parts count and in small assembly manhour. SOLUTION: In an apparatus in which a cradle 2 mounting a drawer type circuit breaker 1 includes a shutter plate 5 for covering the charge part of a main circuit part 3 and which is composed of guide struts 6 coupled with both ends of the shutter plate 5, operation levers 7 linked to the lower ends of the guide struts and pulled out forward, and rollers 13 arranged at the circuit breaker, the guide struts 6 are made of angle-shaped steel materials L-shaped in cross section, and the guide struts 6 are fitted between the right and left slide guides 14 that are cut and erected at the side falls 2a of the cradle 2 thereby being guided and supported vertically slidably, and besides the rear ends of the operation levers 7 are hooked and linked at cuts 6a formed at the lower ends of the guide struts 6. Moreover, for the operation lever 7, the section which serves as the fulcrum of rocking is passed through a fulcrum guide 15 that is cut and erected at the side fall 2a of the cradle 2, and the operation lever 7 is supported rockably with the fulcrum guide 15 as a fulcrum.
