<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravestone excellent in beauty and capable of being inexpensively manufactured in a short period of time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A decorative glass portion 14, and a reflecting portion 16 for reflecting light transmitted through the decorative glass portion 14 are fitted into a recess (groove) 12a which is formed in the main body portion 12 of the gravestone. In this constitution, since most of the incoming light through the decorative glass portion 14 is reflected on a reflecting surface 16a of the reflecting portion 16, the light with sufficient intensity, which is transmitted through the decorative glass portion 14, is visually perceived by an observer. Consequently, the coloring of the decorative glass portion 14 can be sufficiently exerted. Additionally, in the manufacture of the gravestone, as the hollowing of the main body 12 (stone) as a substrate of the decorative glass portion 14 is unnecessary, reduction of a gravestone manufacturing period and a cost-reduction can be realized.
