<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable panel driving device wherein a cushion or the like is inhibited from undergoing permanent deformation or separation without sticking an elastic member such as the cushion or a nonwoven fabric on a mechanism part and a panel and a panel holder integrated with it are inhibited from chattering and causing abnormal sound. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The movable panel 6 driving device is arranged at a front surface side of an electronic instrument body 1, and is driven between a position for covering the front surface of the electronic instrument body and a position for opening the front surface of the electronic instrument body. In the position for covering the front surface of the electronic instrument body 1, a protruded piece 5c arranged at the movable panel 6 and having an elastic force is brought into pressure contact with a member 2 fixed to the electronic instrument body 1.
